Good Morning and Happy Friday!!
If you follow me on instagram/facebook you’ll know I had a rough week last week. I injured myself over exercising and paid dearly for about 4 days with constant bed rest, cramping and the inability to bend, twist, do stairs etc. It was not pretty!! I have been so unbelievably lucky this pregnancy and I hate to say it but some days I truly forget I am pregnant. The human body is so amazing to grow and house a little human for 40 weeks and I have to say I truly underestimated the stress and pressure my body was under. That being said I am on the mend and feeling so much better thank goodness and to say the least I have learned my lesson!!
This weekend marks the end of week 25, the start of week 26 and I think it is finally starting to set in that in less than 15 short weeks we will have a little man joining our family. I can’t even describe to you how excited I am to watch my husband become a father and Cali to become a big sister, it literally makes my heart burst just thinking about it!
The nursery is pretty much done now, just need a few little things and I promise to do a unveiling of his nursery before his arrival!! Ekk I love it so much, I go in there at least once a day, sometimes read in there, listen to music or enjoy a cup of tea, I just love being in there and thinking about him, his future, the person he will become… ah it makes me so excited and nervous all at the same time!!
I haven’t had any really crazy cravings but food I have been enjoying lately include: peanut butter and banana sandwiches, hot chocolate and whip cream, dim sum, fruit and lots of it, and of course pickles!!
Turtle has also started moving around like crazy these last couple weeks which is seriously one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced in my life! He is most active in the evenings once i slow down for the day, and I notice him the most when I am sitting! Clayton has been able to catch him a couple times and it makes us both giggle and so unbelievably happy to be able to feel him!
I am also definitely starting notice some of my movement restrictions with my belly growing! Ive starting just picking things up on the floor with my feet and bending backwards vs forward haha! I am still also peeing multiple times a night unfortunately!! Oh pregnancy joys haha! I would have to say this is the time when I am most uncomfortable now, being up several times a night and then trying to find a position that is not straining my back or neck has turned out to be more tricky than I thought! The pregnancy pillow does help but unfortunately hasn’t resolved all my sleep problems!!
Well that is all for now, I hope you have a wonderful weekend! I have linked my outfit details below!
