I am starting to get more creative when it comes to my makeup application, not only because my time is of value now with a 7 week old but also because mama is on maternity leave and needs to be reasonable when it comes to spending money on makeup! I put together this look to challenge myself to see what necessities I would absolute go with and what i really wouldn’t want to live without! Also it is neat to experiment with makeup and learn that a bronzer can be used as eyeshadow and concealer as an eyeshadow and lip primer! I am all for getting more bang for my buck!
The 6 products I used were:
Tarte 12hr Tinted Primer – I have used this product for as long as I can remember and its an all time favourite. It can be worn on its own or under foundation for a more even finish!
Loreal True Match Foundation – Easily my favourite foundation over the last year and so reasonable at $14! It has a beautiful matte finish and leaves my skin looking flawless which is particularly difficult in the nasty dry climate I live in!
Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer – Another favourite and absolute necessity in my makeup arsenal! It is such a gorgeous product and has the most flawless finish. I also used this concealer to even out my brows, prime my eyes and prime my lips!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow in Ebony – I am obsessed with eyebrows and I feel incomplete when I don’t have them done so this is another product I could not live without! What I love most about this product is the versatility, you can use a lot of product and get a very pronounced brow or use a little to just fill in the gaps and have a very natural look
Too Faced Matte Bronzer in Milkshake – I love this bronzer and also used it in my crease to add some definition to my eyes! It is the perfect matte bronzer without any glitter or sheen. I especially love this bronzer for the winter months when you don’t want to look shiny or too bronzed!
Lastly my favourite mascara, Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara. If I had to choose one product to put on before leaving the house it would be mascara and this drugstore mascara does the best job! My lashes look fuller and longer without looking cake or sticking together!
