Pave Triangle Ear Jacket

Sutton Necklace – Mixed Metal

I purchased this necklace last year at a Stella & Dot party and I cannot even tell you how many times Ive worn it! This piece is perfection for daily attire and also a key piece I take traveling with me and it can be worn so many ways with so many different outfits!

Plume Necklace

This gorgeous necklace comes with two different colours of feathers and 7 ways to wear this necklace!

Lastly my favourite Convertible Bag!!

The Getaway Bag

This bag is one of my travel essentials! Whether I am going away for a weekend or a week this baby is my weekend bag and/or carry on, it goes everywhere with me! The best thing about this bag is you can start off your trip with the zipper done up and maybe after a few spontaneous shopping trips you can unzip and you’ve got a whole lot more space!

A Scarf & Sweater Dress

Im not gonna lie, sweater dresses are my staple in life come fall! For work or play the versatility is endless! This midi sweater dress from Forever 21 is $20 and I absolutely adore the length of this dress. It is work length appropriate with heels or out and about on a shopping date with some knee high boots, I wanted to show both options! I also have to mention this scarf and shoes! I am loving the thickness and pattern of this scarf and for only $18 it was well worth the money! The pumps were a nordstrom clearance purchase and they are stunning, a bit higher than what I am use to but they sure make a statement!

Side Note: My moms dog Lucy joined us! How cute is she!! (I loved that her fur colour matched my scarf!)and we had a surprise visit from a squirrel haha!

Hope you enjoy! xo

Plaid on Plaid

It is no secret I am obsessed with plaid and with fall conveniently arriving sooner than expected plaid has become a staple! There are so many ways to wear plaid and also to accessorize with it, whether thats a purse, coat, scarf or hat.

Other ways to wear plaid for fall?!

Over a dress with knit leggings and ankle booties!

With a oversized tee, ripped denim jeans and converse sneakers!

With leggings and knee high boots!

I hope this post has inspired some new ideas for you to wear that plaid shirt hanging in your closet and you have a great weekend ahead!

Enjoy! xo

Matt & Nat Clarke in Cocoa (here here) The moment I saw this bag online I knew I had to have it, thanks to Miss Boss I was able to get the colour I wanted and it is perfection. The rich chocolate brown enhances any outfit and this will be a favourite for this fall season for sure!

Jackson Rowe Olive in Hunter (here & here): It is no secret I am love this olive green colour for fall and this scarf is so comfortable and looks amazing with every outfit casual or dressy. Jackson Rowe has become one of my favourite Canadian brands this year and you can shop them locally here at Miss Boss!

Chanel Rouge Allure in Passion: I am loving red lipstick and my absolute favourite is this Chanel lippy! It is the perfect red, goes on flawlessly and last all day! If you are looking for a classic lipstick this is your girl!

Buxom Lip Polish in Samantha: This has been my favourite lip gloss for over a year now, I fell off the gloss train for a bit as I was loving the liquid lipsticks but this month I got back on the train and this gloss is the perfect nude with just a hint of pink! Perfect for any time of day!

Kat Von D Shade & Light Contour Palette: I also had this palette as a favourite in June but it is worth a repeat! I use this palette every day whether I am looking to contour or just for some structure! Out of all the kits I have used this is by far the most creamiest, pigmented palette and is perfect for contour newbies or seasoned professionals!

Eliasz & Ella Tiger Eye Necklace: This stunning tiger eye necklace is a perfect addition to any fall wardrobe. The stone itself captures lighting and different angles, shining more brown is some light and more yellow in other.. like I said stunning! This necklace will go fabulously with any fall outfit!

Toms Desert Burlap Wedge: With the cold weather approaching I have been reaching for booties and these burlap wedges are gorgeous, comfortable and help out a good cause, what more can you ask for?!!

Eliasz & Ella Wooden Jasper Stone Bracelet: This beauty is my current go to, with a mixture of browns, yellows, greys and blacks it is the perfect combination for any fall outfit and also for any casual or dressy style!

Don’t forget to check by on Friday for my fashion feature! Have a great hump day!

Floppy Boots

One of the problems I have always faced with my boots are to make them last as long as possible. They aren’t cheap and they go through Canadian Winter hell. Part of my problem is the creasing the leather gets when the boots flop to one side or another. Not anymore!! I cannot take credit for this idea as it was a pinterest find but I still wanted to share! For $4.99 per noodle I was able to make 4 boot stands, or two pairs of boots stands and ta da! Problem solved in two easy steps!

Measure your boot up against the noodle, remember you don’t want it to show on top so make sure you leave an inch or two below the top of the boot and cut!
