Styling a Blanket Scarf

Blanket Scarves have become an essential fall/winter accessory for me and with so many ways to style just one scarf, it is a great investment piece for seasons to come!

I am a huge fan of plaid so when Miss Boss received this Jackson Rowe Scout Scarf in Brick I knew I needed to add this piece to my wardrobe and I have pretty much warn it every day since!

The versatility of a blanket scarf is endless, here I have paired it as an open scarf, folded up into a triangular scarf, as a poncho as well as a wrap! I also wanted to show the variety by pairing it with heels for a bit more sass as well as with boots for a casual look! I have linked the rest of my outfit details below!

I hope you guys enjoy and have a great weekend! xo

Olive

Trees are changing colour, leaves are falling, pumpkin spice lattes are being drank, and my favourite colour has come back into my life! It is definitely fall here in Edmonton and I am doing a happy dance! This time of year is by far one of my favourites!

It is no secret one of my go to, all time favourite colours is Olive. Im obsessed! It literally can be paired with any shade and gives it a subtle pop of colour without being overwhelming or overpowering. One of my favourite ways to wear this colour is with accessories until I found this midi skirt for $18! I decided to pair this outfit with nude accents to make sure I really let the Olive shine, and yes maybe I went overboard on the Olive but I love it!

Midi skirts and dresses are huge this fall and I am loving the appropriate length for work and also loving the fact that I can pair them with an oversized sweater and boots for a casual look!

I have linked all of my outfit details belowI hope you all have a great weekend and we’ll talk soon!!

Hope you enjoy! xo

With a oversized tee, ripped denim jeans and converse sneakers!

With leggings and knee high boots!

I hope this post has inspired some new ideas for you to wear that plaid shirt hanging in your closet and you have a great weekend ahead!

Date Night Asymmetrical LBD

First off, the outfit details! This outfit is my take on the little black dress, cute, figure flattering and sexy as hell! This angled dress is only $20 and is a great way to show some leg without showing everything!

Can we talk about these shoes!! I featured Lola Shoetique in my last fashion post and these babies also caught my eye!! I lovvvve them oh and they are only $40!!! They are so cute and look great dressed with jeans or a dress! I can guarantee you will see these bad boys in another blog post because they are so gorge! I paired this dress with a camo jacket I picked up on sale at Miss Boss cus camo goes with everything;) However this dress would also look great with a long sweater and sandals for a more casual look!

Some fun summer date night ideas that me and the hubby love to do

1. Golfing or driving range> my hubby loves golfing so we enjoy getting out and hitting some balls or going for a round on a beautiful friday night!

2. Bowling! Whether it is just the two of you or you’ve got a group of friend, order some beer and some pizza and you are guaranteed a great night!

3. Ice Cream!! And I’m not talking about no frozen yogurt, I am talking about the cookie dough and bubble gum combo!! If you live in Edmonton, Pete’s just north of St. Francis Xavier High School is the bomb!!!
