Styling A Bodysuit

Can we please take a moment to thank the hair gods for letting my hair grow to a length that I can finally curl it!!!! Yipeee!! No more justin bieber side part (well at least not everyday now)!!!

Haha any who! My last couple fashion posts have been pretty casual so I wanted to spice things up with this gorgeous bodysuit from Express Clothing. I am loving the criss-cross front that can be dressed up or dressed down and also adds a little sexiness..Oooo!!! Bodysuits have really come along way and are such a great alternative to a top.

I am a huge fan of body suits especially when it comes to work because tucking a shirt in all the time is super annoying and having the lines from your shirt show through your pants because its not perfectly flat and tucked, no thank you! Body suits are also very flattering and reasonably priced as well. It took me a while to find one I loved and I just recently was told that Express is carrying a whole line of bodysuits so I am sure I will be adding more to my collection! I have linked all of the outfit details below!

I hope you guys have a wonderful weekend!

Day to Night Transition

I wanted to start showing some more versatility with pieces, how to wear them and with what so you can get the most out of your existing wardrobe without having to go out and spend money!!

This BCBG leather jacket I got at Winners over two years ago for $80 and I have had continuous wear out of it ever since! My favourite part about this jacket is the quilting and silver detail, it makes it different and a piece that is sure to stand out as well as the functionality of it!

I wanted to put together a day to night look that is easy to transition to. The first look is a great running around or traveling outfit. With runners and a patterned scarf its an easy look to pull together that is comfortable and chic! For the second outfit I did a quick change to a faux fur scarf and heels keeping the rest of my outfit and bag the same! This would be a great look for a date night out with the hubs! These looks can easily be applied to any jacket of any colour or material! Lastly, in the summer a bright pop of colour in either a top or handbag would be super cute with this outfit!

Hope you guys enjoy! xo

Trees are changing colour, leaves are falling, pumpkin spice lattes are being drank, and my favourite colour has come back into my life! It is definitely fall here in Edmonton and I am doing a happy dance! This time of year is by far one of my favourites!

It is no secret one of my go to, all time favourite colours is Olive. Im obsessed! It literally can be paired with any shade and gives it a subtle pop of colour without being overwhelming or overpowering. One of my favourite ways to wear this colour is with accessories until I found this midi skirt for $18! I decided to pair this outfit with nude accents to make sure I really let the Olive shine, and yes maybe I went overboard on the Olive but I love it!

Midi skirts and dresses are huge this fall and I am loving the appropriate length for work and also loving the fact that I can pair them with an oversized sweater and boots for a casual look!

I have linked all of my outfit details belowI hope you all have a great weekend and we’ll talk soon!!

Hope you enjoy! xo

Tuesday Trends – Trapeze

No I am not referring to a circus act! A trapeze tee or dress is a high low cut on a t shirt/dress style top that has a loose/flowy bottom! To put it lightly I am obsessed with these tees!  These shirts can be worn with leggings or a side tucked in on a great pair of ripped denim. Below I have shared my favourites!

Tuesday Trends – Burgundy

Burgundy is huge for this coming fall, so I am sharing my favourite burgundy pieces that can be added to any wardrobe! This colour is so beautiful and a perfect compliment to a neutral outfit! You can even spice things up with a burgundy lipstick, or nail polish, one of my favourite colours to wear in the fall!

Express Wine Fring CrossBody Bag l Also comes in Black $30 Fringe is also huge for the upcoming fall season and the combination of this colour and style will be fab with any outfit!

LuLu Carmen Sun Diego Burgundy Floppy Hat l Also comes in Black Brown & Grey $32. Floppy hats are so chic and I love the thinker felt material that can double as keeping your noggin warm and looking on point!

Express Distress Lace Up Ankle Boots l I love love love ankle booties and in burgundy these are a must. I love that they are flat, they could be worn with shorts or a skirt in later summer and will transition into fall beautiful with jeans or leggings!

Express Oversized Windowpane Plaid Shirt Plaid is an absolute must for me in the fall and the combination of this colour and pattern are perfection. I also love the length and cut of this tunic style that can be paired flawlessly with jeans or leggings.
