Fall Feature Pieces

I have a secret….. As much as I love summer, Fall is one of my favourite times of year , not only for the boots, oversized sweaters, pumpkins spice latte’s and scarves but because it means we are that much closer to Christmas and i LOVE Christmas!!

I have put together two different outfits for this post showing two different tops and keeping the remainder of the outfit the same including all of the accessories. I love playing around with outfits as there are so many fun ways to mix and match pieces of clothing!

In this post I wanted to feature my new Fall back to work bag, this gorgeous Matt & Nat Clarke in Cocoa is a stunning piece, with a large flap for easy access and a divider in the middle for a laptop and other personal items its makes for the perfect day to day work bag, oh and the colour…. so gorgeous!! I picked mine up at Miss Boss here in Edmonton! I also wanted to highlight my fab new fall accessories from Eliasz & Ella, the Tiger Eye Necklace and my gorgeous stack of Eliasz & Ella Bangin Bracelets. I have listed them all down below with their respective links!

Oh and please forgive my fuzzy hair, it is growing slowly but surely!!

Hope you enjoy! xo

Florals & Bows

As you can tell from some recent posts I am obsessed with Floral this summer! It is such a beautiful statement that you can have so much fun with, I literally felt like a tulip in this skirt!! You could also easily pair this skirt with a t-shirt and converse sneakers for a SJP vibe to dress it down and the additional colour pairings are endless, red, fuchsia, burgundy, you name it!

I went very light on the jewelry, small earring and my bangin bracelets as you don’t want to take away from the skirt or the amount of colour/pattern you’ve got goin on!

Theres nothing I love more than a statement pieces like this because fashion should be fun, bright and embody you as a person. I am still trying to figure out my own style but the great thing is you don’t have to fit in because fitting in is boring!

Hope you enjoy dolls! xo

Coral Crush

This is probably my favourite dress purchased so far this year!! You all need to run over to Miss Boss before they are sold out!! This colour is absolutely gorgeous, it is soooo comfortable and I adore the pockets! This kind of dress you can wear soooo many ways and would be perfect for summer nights out, bridal showers, stagettes, weddings or any other event the summer may hold! I paired this dress with lavender accessories from Eliasz & Ella including their Love. City. Strength. Adjustable Gold Ring & Absolute Druzy Stone Necklace, soooo fabulous! Lastly my Michael Kors Josephine Wedges & Matt & Nat Ohara to finish off the look! Details below!

Hope you enjoy! xo

Tie Dye Maxi

You can never go wrong with a good maxi dress! Tie Dye is super in this summer and I could resist this gorgeous maxi from K-Lee Boutique in Sherwood Park!  Dress them up or down they are an easy go to look. Keys to finding a great maxi dress include fit, material, cut and length. I wanted this dress to make the statement so I went with white as a neutral compliment. The subtle colour and length of this dress were key for my fit, as a tall girl it is very hard to find a maxi dress long enough for me!

Can we please talk about the rousing and the leg slit, it is so form fitting and flattering and did I mention comfortable! I would pair this on its own or with a white or black loose fitting sweater for a casual evening look!

Hope you enjoy! xo

Earthy Tones

I am obsessing over earthy tones these days and when I saw this dress at Miss Boss it jumped right into my bag;)! It is super comfortable and the shape and back are perfect to compliment any body type! I am also so in love with the length and unusual drop hem, it is not too short and not too long which is very hard to find when you are tall!

This dress can be paired with so many great pieces for a casual or dressy look! Throw on a cardigan to dress it down with flats or a fabulous quilted leather jacket and pumps for a night out on the town! I decided on wearing these boots because its more of an unusual look vs wearing ankle boots, so I wanted to show it can look just as hot with boots or heels and that you can have fun with any look!

Lastly I am obsessed with this Matt & Nat Cork (yes I said Cork!) Ohara Bag and have literally worn it everyday since I nabbed on sale at K-Lee Boutique in Sherwood Park!! It can be converted into a clutch as worn here or attach the straps and you’ve got a cross body bag! Anyone who follows me knows I love Matt & Nat, not only is this brand Canadian and Vegan (animal love) but this gorgeous handbag is made out of recyclable material…. MIND BLOWN!!

Fashion should always be fun and this outfit embodies that fun for me!

Hope you enjoy! xo

Pattern Skirt & Basic Black Tank

I love skirts, flowy skirts, maxi skirts, asymmetrical skirts and a pattern like this skirt with a very neutral colour is so easy to mix and match with! My girls at Miss Boss and Eliasz & Ella helped me pair these pieces together and I am absolutely loving the combination! The basic black tee and accessories really let the skirt stand out and the gladiator sandals give it a bit of edge! To mix it up, you could pair with a hot pink tank, bright chunky necklace and a pair of wedges to dress it up or just a basic black tee like this one with a loose sweater over top and flip flop sandals! Details on my outfit below!

Hope you enjoy! xo

Joe Fresh and Matt & Nat

Happy Friday!! I have been wanting to do a post on Joe Fresh because well who doesn’t love Joe Fresh! Joe Fresh is such a great brand, they are affordable, have great style and have a great online website! I picked up these cargo pants for $25 in this colour and a khaki colour and they have been on serious repeat! They are comfortable, form fitting and super easy to pair with different outfits! My absolute favourite part of this post is my Matt & Nat Tardy bag in the colour midnight (navy). I love love love this company. Matt & Nat is a Canadian company made in Montreal and is a 100% vegan line, meaning that no animals were harmed in making any of their products AND they are so reasonably priced! I highly suggested heading over to Groove Stone or Miss Boss to get a look at their gorgeous line!

Lastly I think I have paired this navy cardigan and the navy tardy bag together on 1000 different outfits. I love finding pieces that really work together and these two are a perfect pair. For some ideas, I have paired them with an army green maxi dress, a tank and jean shorts as well as leggings and a loose fitting tee! Sometimes finding great pieces should be more geared towards complimenting what you already have in your closet vs having 10 pieces of clothes or accessories that don’t work together!

Have a great weekend! Hope you enjoy! xo
